Kartik Kwatra is a highly skilled Software Developer 2 at Salesforce with a strong background in software engineering. Currently, Kartik is part of the Azure Cosmos DB team at Salesforce, where he is working on the elasticity and scalability aspect of CosmosDB. He is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the performance and efficiency of the system. Prior to joining Salesforce, Kartik worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where he was also part of the Azure Cosmos DB team. During his time at Microsoft, he developed a deep understanding of the elasticity and scalability aspect of the CosmosDB system. Kartik's experience also includes working as a Software Engineering Intern in the Core Functions Engineering division at Microsoft-India Development Center. Here, he developed an Admin Portal using Asp .Net Framework, which eliminated the dependency of 20 partner teams and reduced the release time for a new partner application from 7 days to just 30 minutes. He also automated the generation and publishing of release notes using Azure Services Rest API. Kartik holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in IT from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) and completed his high school education at The Srijan School. His extensive tech stack includes software engineering, Salesforce, AWS, Azure, Javascript, Spring, NodeJS, Java, Deep Learning, and Flask.
