Kartik Mandaville is an accomplished CEO and founder of Springworks, a HR tech startup that uses blockchain and AI. With over 9 years of relevant experience, he has established himself as an expert in employee engagement and productivity. He has also worked in the field of science and has been a part of over $1 billion worth of exits. Kartik is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned his Masters from the Language Technologies Institute, School of Computer Science, with a focus on Big Data, Machine Learning, NLP and Bio-technology. During his time there, he was part of the IBM Watson project and worked on genome analysis with machine learning. In 2010, he founded AutoBudder, a software that automatically wishes friends on their birthdays. The software reached out to 4 million people at its peak and won the ACM Challenge of Code.
