Kartik Patel is a passionate and driven 4th-year engineering student with a keen interest in entrepreneurship. As a startup founder, he has learned fundamental skills by practically doing it on his own, with customer handling being the most important learning. His startup, DiamondZone, aims to solve basic problems of hostelites with the support of technology. Though the pandemic has temporarily disrupted their operations, Kartik is ready to return with a bang and continue to give back to the juniors and society. Kartik is also a coordinator with MIIC (Mechanical Industrial Interaction Cell), where he contributes to the training and development of junior engineering students, helping him learn the art of imparting knowledge. His three-year journey as an NSS (National Service Scheme) volunteer has taught him valuable leadership lessons, and he currently drives a team of 115+ volunteer students in NSS at his university. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Kartik has worked as a Google CloudReady Facilitator and served as an advisory to the core committee of the National Service Scheme at the Faculty of Technology & Engineering, The M.S. University of Baroda. Kartik holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, where he is currently a coordinator with the Training & Placement Cell. He has also completed a course in EAE (Everything About Entrepreneurship) from Bada Business Pvt Ltd. With 1.36 years of relevant experience, Kartik is an avid learner, volunteer, and leader, always seeking to make a positive impact on those around him.
