Karuna Kumari Kaushik is a pre-final year student at IIT Roorkee pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree in Biotechnology. She is an aspiring Software Engineer with a keen interest in web development and data analysis. With over 1.20 years of relevant experience, Karuna is looking for a summer internship opportunity to explore and gain some experience. Currently, Karuna works as the Secretary (Events & Promotion) at the Wellness Centre IIT Roorkee, where she provides solutions for students regarding issues that concern them, emotionally and academically. She works with counselors to help IITR people fight common problems like depression, anxiety, and OCD. Additionally, she organizes multiple counseling sessions, awareness drives, guest lectures, and workshops for sensitization of the campus community. In the past, Karuna has worked as a Designer at the Wellness Centre IIT Roorkee, where she was responsible for spreading awareness about mental health and acting as a point of contact between the counselor and students. She has also worked as an NGO Relations and Sponsorship Executive Member at NSS IIT Roorkee, where she aimed to make changes in society and worked on the sponsorship for several events organized by NSS IIT Roorkee. Karuna's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Biotechnology from IIT Roorkee, an I.Sc degree in Science from Ashok Inter School Daudnagar, Aurangabad (Bihar), and a Matric degree from Ashoka Inter School Daudnagar, Aurangabad (Bihar). Karuna's technical skills include proficiency in Web development, Software Engineering, Frontend, and ReactJS. She is a quick learner and a team player, always willing to take on new challenges and work collaboratively to achieve goals.
