Kashfun Nazir is a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer with a Master of Science in Security by Design from Singapore University of Technology and Design. He has a wealth of experience in the field, having worked in the industry for over four years. Currently, Kashfun works as a Product Support Engineer (Cloud WAF) at Imperva, where he handles level 2-3 Cloud WAF support cases, working directly with Imperva customers, partners, and Sales Engineers. He is responsible for analyzing support case trends and customer requirements while working with the Product Teams to help enhance the product. He also assesses the customer’s technical environment and requirements while managing expectations and following through on solutions or consulting on deployments. Kashfun's secondary role is as a Service Platform Engineer, where he has developed tools to improve the efficiency of processes and resolve process issues. He is also a Subject Matter Expert in three domains: Security, API, and API Security. He has the best MTTR record across global teams. Kashfun has worked for other notable companies in the past, including Atlan, where he was the pioneer (first) member of Atlan's security team. Here, he engineered, implemented, and monitored security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information. He identified and defined system security requirements, designed computer security architecture, and developed detailed cybersecurity designs. He also prepared and documented standard operating procedures and protocols, configured and troubleshooted security infrastructure devices, and developed technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate. Kashfun has a diverse educational background, including a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Forensics, Information Security and Management & Business Information S from Murdoch University, a Specialist Diploma in Nutrition and Exercise from Singapore Polytechnic, and a Diploma in Cyber and Digital Security from Temasek Polytechnic. Kashfun is proficient in infra and has a passion for keeping up with the latest technologies concerning Imperva’s products and the underlying technologies and disseminating this knowledge to the other engineers. He is a highly motivated and dedicated individual who is committed to delivering the best results for his clients.
