Kashif Faraz is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience building data platforms and databases. Currently working at Imply as a Software Engineer, Kashif is an expert in Apache Druid and has a deep understanding of the software development life cycle. Prior to joining Imply, Kashif worked at AppDynamics as a Senior Software Engineer where he was responsible for building a metric data pipeline, an expression engine to evaluate app health, and a lightweight library for reactive programming. He also worked at Qubole as a Member Technical Staff where he contributed to the development of a data platform and worked on a fork of Apache Hive. Kashif holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is proficient in various software engineering technologies including Apache Hive, and has a strong understanding of data platforms and databases. With almost a decade of relevant experience in the field, Kashif is a dedicated and hardworking individual who is passionate about building scalable and efficient software systems.
