Kashyap has also built tools towards enabling CI/CD and set up automated smoke, sanity, and regression suites. He has improved test coverage and cleared backlog to ensure high-quality product releases. In the past, Kashyap has worked as a Research Project Fellow at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, where he worked on a project related to wavelet analysis and its applications in the security domain. He has designed a highly secure algorithm wherein an RGB image can be encrypted with varied computational cost depending on the user, enabling real-time image encryption. Kashyap has also published a research article related to his work. Kashyap has also worked as a Research Intern at CSIR-CEERI, Pilani, where he designed a Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) filter to denoise signals and implemented it on an FPGA. The objective was met by first simulating the filter in MATLAB Simulink followed by FPGA implementation using Xilinx System Generator.
