Kashyap Ravichandran is an accomplished Silicon Design Engineer - 2 at AMD, with a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from SSN College of Engineering. He also holds a High School, Middle School and Primary degree in Computer Science from DAV Public School. Kashyap has 1.35 years of relevant experience in the field of technology and is well-versed in Python, Research Science, and Machine Learning. He has worked on several projects during his tenure at Indian Institute of Technology, where he served as a Research Fellow. One of his most notable projects was the development of hardware and firmware for "Take Note," a note-taking device for the visually impaired. Kashyap also created a software prototype for "Take Note" using Python and facilitated in the mechanical chassis development for the device. He presented the product and its accompanying software in front of 500 people at Pysangamam, a Python conference conducted at IIT Madras. Kashyap also worked as an Intern at IBM, where he exclusively worked on IBM Watson, IBM's cloud services. He formulated a machine learning model to classify fake logos from real logos and created documentation for two IBM Watson IoT services by analyzing their functionality, identifying their usage, and their use case scenarios. For his work towards the betterment of the IBM developer community, Kashyap was inducted into IBM's developer champions group.
