Kassandra Coan is a Pilot and Product Manager who is passionate about using technology and aviation to bring people closer together both physically and digitally. Currently working as a Product Manager at Facebook Operator Solutions - Monetization, she is dedicated to merging technology and aviation to improve the quality of life for all. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Kassandra has worked with some of the leading companies in the aviation and transportation industry. She has previously worked as a Product Manager at Kitty Hawk, where she scaled flight test operations via autonomy additions and software tools for vehicle operators. At Lyft, she led the Driver Experience team, focusing on improving supply and maintaining the 'Lyft treats drivers better' reputation. Her past accomplishments include leading the technical and branding separation of the original Lyft app into separate passenger and driver-focused apps on both iOS and Android platforms, unlocking business potential for shipping faster and lower maintenance costs. Kassandra has a Master's degree in Unmanned Systems from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She also holds Graduate Certificates in IATA Aviation Management and Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. She completed a BS in Computer Science from Florida State University and an AA in Computer Science from Valencia College. She has also completed the R44 Safety Course from Robinson Helicopter Company and the ICS Incident Command System from FEMA Emergency Management Institute.
