Katarina Bagherian is an experienced User Experience Research Team Lead at Adyen with a passion for building out a user experience research practice that empowers product, design, commercial, and operational teams with insights about what makes their merchants tick. With almost a decade of relevant experience, Katarina has worked her way up the ranks at Adyen, starting as a Senior User Experience Researcher before being promoted to her current role. Katarina's expertise in user experience research is complemented by her educational background, which includes a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of California, as well as a Data School certification from Utrecht University, where she studied Digital Methods and Data Practices. She has also completed courses in "Statistics for UX" and "Measuring UX ROI" from the Nielsen Norman Group and has taken language courses in Czech, Swedish, and Farsi from the Univerzita Karlova v Praze. Katarina's passion for research extends beyond her work at Adyen, as she has also served as a Guest Lecturer in Research for Business Innovation at Hogeschool Inholland/Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
