Katie Bromley is an experienced Recruiter at Google, responsible for full-cycle recruiting for sales roles in Google Customer Solutions (GCS). With over 8 years of relevant experience, she is an expert in identifying and hiring top talent for one of the most innovative and dynamic companies in the world. In her current role, Katie is excited to support the GCS recruiting team and help them hire the best candidates for this amazing organization. She is skilled in conducting intake calls with hiring leaders to understand their recruitment needs, sourcing and identifying qualified candidates through various channels, and aligning with support recruiters to communicate hiring targets and expectations. Prior to joining Google, Katie worked as a Senior Recruiter at Rock Central, where she supported the hiring needs of Rocket Mortgage (Quicken Loans) and the Rocket Companies network. She was the single point of contact for various companies and business areas throughout Rocket Companies and met weekly with clients to discuss pace-to-goal, hiring objectives, candidate reviews, and plans of action to ensure hiring goals were met. She also completed the Aspiring Leaders Program, a 3-month intensive leadership series, and participated in Amplify, a leadership series specifically targeted towards "leaders without the title" in Talent Acquisition. Before Rock Central, Katie worked as a Senior Recruiter at Quicken Loans, where she supported hiring needs for Amber Engine, Pophouse, Quicken Loans, Fathead, Rocket Fiber, and Petram Data. She was chosen as a founding recruiter of Run FOC, a team dedicated to providing top service and supporting recruitment needs to the overarching Family of Companies. She was also selected as a Workday Champion to assist in the implementation of their new ATS and HR system and act as a change advocate to bolster enthusiasm for this major platform switch. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Grand Valley State University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, getting lost in a good book, and going on spontaneous adventures.
