Kaushal Joshi is an experienced software engineer with over 10 years of experience in the E-commerce, healthcare, and real estate domains. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at realxdata – a Moody's Analytics company. Kaushal has a strong background in SQL, Ruby on Rails, React Js, and Linux. He is a skilled engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. In his previous role as a Senior Developer at pix.city, Kaushal was solely responsible for the transition of the company from Juliedesk to Pixielanes from the tech side. He developed the Dynamic Meeting Links feature, which was in high demand during the COVID lockdown period and helped increase the sales for the company. He is also developing an entirely new website for the company, both backend and frontend, using the latest web technologies such as RoR, React Gatsby, Angular, Postgres, and Python. Kaushal was the single point of contact for the tech team for the Juliedesk and Slashdesk project. As a Tech Lead at Portea, Kaushal spearheaded the transition from Php to RoR and React tech stack in Portea projects. He created a self-service PWA called Consumer Portal for Portea clients using Angular 4 as frontend and RoR(5.x) in the backend. He also worked extensively on backend API projects using RoR(5.x) and organized Planning Poker and Sprint Planning meetings as Scrum Master.
