Kaushik Gudapati is a highly skilled and experienced engineer with a passion for building large-scale, distributed systems. With over 9 years of relevant experience, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Amazon and Flipkart. Currently, he is a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon. Kaushik's expertise lies in tackling complex problems that become intractable at scale. He is always seeking interesting challenges and has a proven track record of building systems that are astronomical in scale. As a Co-Founder and CTO at Wareshare, he was responsible for analyzing and setting up the entire technology stack. He also led the team while building an MVP release using AngularJS and Ruby on Rails. Additionally, he built a warehouse management system with modules for inventory management and tracking system using ReactJS. He was also responsible for system administration of Amazon EC2 instances based on Nginx. At Flipkart, Kaushik was a Software Development Engineer and played a key role in helping the company scale and prepare for high-load and critical sale periods such as the Big Billion Day. He helped build the code infrastructure based on Redis for handling 100,000+ requests per second. He also built a custom failover system for MongoDB and logistics modules for the supply chain division using Ruby on Rails and AngularJS modules that can now handle 200,000 shipment deliveries per day. He also developed internal tools for operations monitoring and big data analytics modules used by product teams. Kaushik holds a degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he studied from 2009 to 2014. His tech stack includes Java, Ruby, MongoDB, Elastic Search, AWS, Big Data, Redis, Javascript, and infra. With his extensive experience and expertise in building large-scale systems, Kaushik is a valuable asset to any organization.
