Kaushik Lohia is a highly experienced Technical Program Manager with a strong background in infrastructure efficiency programs. Currently working at Stripe, he leads their efficiency programs, which reduce infrastructure costs and make their compute more cost-efficient across all of Stripe, saving millions per year. In addition, he is also responsible for hiring and welcomes any job postings from interested candidates. Before joining Stripe, Kaushik spent 7.5 years at Amazon, where he served as a Principal Technical Program Manager and head of Amazon Retail's Call Leader & Incident Response programs. In this role, he was responsible for the hosting, availability, and cost-efficiency of Amazon's global retail websites. He also owned the training programs for all of Amazon's engineers and technical managers, and relentlessly improved both business and developer agility through his programs. Additionally, he was responsible for readiness across all of Amazon for their biggest sale events, including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Prime Day. As the organization's Principal TPM, he advised and contributed across all domains, working across all levels from new engineers to senior executives. Kaushik's education background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, which he completed in 2014. He also attended Harborfields High School, where he completed his high school education in 2005.
