Kaushik R. is a Smart Eco Electric Mobility Enthusiast who is a skilled software engineer with 5.95 years of experience in designing, developing and troubleshooting embedded software applications. He possesses expertise in Embedded C/C++ software, Linux, Qt, AUTOSAR Architecture, AUTOSAR tools (Vector and EB), AUTOSAR OS Stack configuration, and integration. Currently working as a Senior Developer (Data Distribution Services) at Siemens, Kaushik is responsible for evaluating various DDS stacks available in the market, integrating RTI Connext DDS stack onto S7-1500 and next-generation Virtual PLC firmware, and benchmarking the latency and throughput for the RTI DDS stack for various scenarios and use cases. He is also responsible for creating and configuring IDL and XML files as per standards defined by OMG, configuring domains, domain participants, various quality of service parameters for publishers/data writers and subscribers/data readers, and developing plugins to configure and integrate DDS stack using standard tooling of Siemens (TIA Portal) - DDS Binding. Prior to Siemens, Kaushik has worked as a Senior Software Engineer (Hybrid Brake Systems) at Bosch and as an Associate Engineer (Vehicle Dynamics) at Continental. At Bosch, he was responsible for software architecting for Hybrid Brake Systems and for ARCHITECTURE2020 for Autonomous Driving Platform. He also designed and developed architecture for a Hybrid Regenerative brake system, analyzed change requests from customers, and developed new ARCHITECTURE2020 for the next-generation braking system. At Continental, he was responsible for software development, testing, and requirements writing, configuration, and integration of AUTOSAR OS/OSEK according to the project and system requirements using Vector tools, and support for Asian and European projects for OS issues. Kaushik holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology and an Executive Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from IIIT Bangalore. He also holds a Pre-University degree from Carmel Pre-University College and a High School degree from Sri Vani Public School.
