Kaustav Guin is a seasoned professional with close to 3 years of experience in the operations industry, coupled with proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, and JAVA. He has extensive knowledge of applications like Visual Studio, ORACLE 9i, etc. Kaustav has previously worked with renowned brands such as Uber India, E&Y, and Wipro Infotech, and is currently associated with Zomato, where he is striving to solve bigger problems and achieve growth as a process and people manager. At Zomato, Kaustav is a Senior Lead, managing a team of associates and SMEs responsible for providing a delightful experience to the users of Zomato. He is also the DRI for the Social Media Team of Zomato, setting up the KPI of individuals, and improving responses on the Social Media Platform. He has optimized the overall process of handling escalations and FSSAI related issues at Zomato and channelized the process of internal escalations. He is also the SPOC for BPO sites responsible for the customer support process of Zomato. Kaustav has set up and handled the Zomato Gold Sales Team, increasing user signups for the product. He is also responsible for setting up and handling Zomato Gold Event Promotions Team and is the DRI for process optimization of Zomato Piggybank. He has significantly improved the overall CSAT of Zomato Support. Before joining Zomato, Kaustav had worked with OYO as an Assistant Manager, where he was responsible for building the strategy and operations of the International Business of Oyo. He had also set up the Online Reputation Management team for South-East Asia and the Middle East, identified trends and solved problems/issues related to the brand 'OYO,' and improved and scaled up the product to achieve better user experience and NPS. Kaustav has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from West Bengal University of Technology and B.P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. He also attended Apeejay School, Saket. He is proficient in Java and has a relevant experience of 6.86 years.
