Kaustav Mandal is a Full Stack Developer with over 2 years of relevant experience. He is currently working at Amazon as an SE 2 in the JWO organization. Prior to this, he worked at TCS as a Full Stack Developer where he developed and optimized software for MetLife Italy business. He also integrated various REST API, UI modules, and services for applications using the Spring framework. Kaustav remediated various OWASP SCA security flaws in the application using Veracode scans. He was responsible for organizing deployments to QA, UAT, and PROD environments, including providing builds, database scripts, implementation and back out plans to INFRA Team. Kaustav also worked with Italian business in requirement gathering and designing high-level architecture for various applications. He organized and planned training sessions in JAVA, Spring, UI, DevOps Process to new developers, QA Team, and AMS Team. Before TCS, Kaustav worked as a Software Developer Intern at Tata Steel, where he worked in a team of three to develop an NLP Model on Safety data analytics using NLTK, Python, and Flask API. The model was used in analyzing textual data from Tata Steel Safety department and helped in considerable reduction of safety accidents that occurred frequently within the premises of the company. Kaustav holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Management, where he graduated in 2020. He also completed his 10+2 from D.A.V. Public School Bistupur Jamshedpur in 2016 and his CISCE from Dayanand Public School, Jamshedpur in 2014. Kaustav's tech stack includes QA, Spring, UI, DevOps, Infra, Java, NLP, Software Engineer, Flask, and Python.
