Kaustubh Mallik is a Principal Software Engineer at McMakler, where he is responsible for building and scaling real-estate marketplace services. With over 6 years of experience, he has worked in various domains such as Fintech, e-Commerce, and real-estate. Prior to joining McMakler, Kaustubh worked at Happay, an expense management solution for businesses where he was part of the backend services team. He was responsible for developing the core transaction platform that powers all the transactional processes involving money transfers via various channels like VISA, MasterCard, and Bank partners. He was also involved in integrating the platform with ERPs and accounting software to automate the end-to-end process from expense to accounting, making it completely paperless, cashless, and mobile. Before Happay, Kaustubh worked at Increff as a Software Development Engineer where he worked on the Order Management System. Kaustubh completed his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi in 2016. Prior to that, he completed his Senior High School from Harrow Public School, Bareilly, where he studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Kaustubh has a strong technical background and is proficient in Golang, Mobile, Backend, and Web development. He is also an open-source contributor.
