Kavin Subramani is an experienced Lead Android Developer with over 10 years of relevant experience in software development, project execution, and application support. He is primarily skilled in Android application and SDK development, with experience in leading Android projects from start to finish. Kavin's passion for building applications started when he got his first job with little technical or coding knowledge, where he built a couple of small apps and saw users using them live, which fascinated him to build bigger things. Currently, Kavin leads the app development at PharmEasy, India's highly rated Online Pharmacy App, where he ensures that the team follows up-to-date and scalable code standards and practices to ship the best quality product for millions of users with a seamless e-commerce experience. He faces the exciting challenge of designing a familiar e-commerce app experience for end-users on a healthcare app with unique constraints and complexities. Before joining PharmEasy, Kavin worked with an excellent team at CouponDunia, where he was part of the team that built the Android app from scratch, providing users with a convenient and easy source to find offers on products from a wide range of e-commerce sites. He also built a couple of other apps in Saver (SDK in Times Of India App) and CashBoss, which are downloaded and used by millions of users. During his time at CouponDunia, Kavin was able to test, experiment, evolve, and grow his leadership and man management skills. Kavin's previous experience at Hashprompt Softwares, where he worked on around 15 small-scale apps in two years, helped him be prepared for the bigger challenges that lay ahead. He also has experience working on frontend and backend applications mainly in PHP, Java, and JavaScript.
