Kaviraj Kanagaraj is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in building high-performance systems. He is passionate about writing maintainable code and loves to read academic papers and experiment with new technologies. Kaviraj is a firm believer in the UNIX philosophy and simplicity, which is reflected in his work. Currently, Kaviraj is working as a Senior Backend Engineer at Launchyard Technologies, where he has written most of the core components of AirCTO, including the Auth system, Interview Scheduling system, and Notification system in Golang. He is also building distributed databases for Logs at Grafana Labs and is a Grafana Loki maintainer. Kaviraj has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Grafana Labs, where he was part of the Grafana Cloud team and worked on the Loki open-source project. He has also worked as a Unix App Developer at Wipro, where he developed pearl-based scripts for automation and worked on C++ code-based written for L2 and L3 switches. Kaviraj holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology. He has expertise in Kubernetes, infrastructure, Terraform, GCP, microservices, and Golang. In his free time, Kaviraj works on Rust pet projects and continues to explore new technologies.
