Kavita Rawat is a Project Manager at Central Square Foundation, where she works with the Government Projects team on the ADB project, a results-based lending program that aims to improve education outcomes and reduce dropout rates. With a passion for the education sector, Kavita believes in creating sustainable solutions that have a large impact. Before joining Central Square Foundation, Kavita completed a Teach for India fellowship in 2020, where she led over 150 girls across two government schools and three classrooms in the East Delhi community. She holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Ambedkar University Delhi. Kavita's previous experience includes working as a Content Developer at Peepul, where she developed content to enhance the skills and competency of English for grade 2 students across 568 schools, impacting more than 22,000 students of South Delhi Municipal Corporation Schools. She also worked as an Academic Baseline Dipstick at Peepul, where she conducted an Academic Baselining Dipstick virtually using the ASER tool to establish a baseline for subsequent academic intervention design for the SDMC School transformation Project in collaboration with the School Education Department, SDMC, and the NGO Peepul. With 2.51 years of relevant experience, Kavita is a TFI Alum 2020 and co-founder of DNA. She is committed to making a difference in the education sector by creating sustainable solutions that have a positive impact on the lives of students.
