Kavitha Shanmugan is an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a curious mind and a passion for discovering and experimenting with new technologies. With over 5 years of IT experience, Kavitha has worked with Blockchain Ethereum and Full Stack Technologies. Her expertise lies in Javascript, NodeJS, Angular, ReactJS, PHP, Python Django, MongoDB, PLSQL, Unix shell scripting, Gosu, Guidewire, Java, Solidity, and web3.js. Currently working as a Production Support Engineer at TCS, Kavitha is responsible for analyzing issues in production and test environments and implementing fixes when required. She is also responsible for refreshing test/Dev database schemas with production data as per user requests, monitoring SLA's of incidents, problem records, and change records, and implementing necessary Unix shell scripts to automate batch jobs. Her proactive approach in making use of shell scripts to solve issues has been appreciated by her clients. Kavitha has also extensively used DML/DDL commands for performing business user requests and running batch jobs. In her previous role at TCS, Kavitha worked as a Blockchain MEAN Stack developer. Her experience in developing UI using Angular6 framework, developing APIs using Express Framework (NodeJS) needed for user story and performing integration with Angular6 and Ethereum Blockchain, and NodeJS API integration with MongoDB has been commendable. She also has experience using truffle and ganache to test and deploy smart contracts. Kavitha's education history includes a NodeJS certification from Comit, a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vidya Academy of Science and Technology - Technical Campus, Kilimanoor, and a Higher Secondary degree from Santa Maria Academy, Thrissur.
