Keerthan Mahesh is a Software Engineering Graduate Student at the University of Maryland, College Park. Currently, he is working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Geographical Sciences, where he is responsible for full-stack software development of USDA-NIFA funded projects focusing on developing web-based decision support tools. Keerthan has 2.11 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering. Previously, he worked as an Associate Software Developer and Software Developer at Tabner, where he implemented core full-stack functionalities and features of the ZSuite products, ZAware and ZAlert. Additionally, he developed cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Spring Boot, such as Kiddiecare, which aimed to help childcare centers in the US function efficiently, and Picniq, which enabled users to create collaborative videos celebrating and highlighting life events. Keerthan has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus. He is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering degree in Software Engineering from the University of Maryland, which he is expected to complete in May 2024. Keerthan's tech stack includes skills such as Research Scientist, Web, Software Engineer, Integration, VueJS, and Javascript. With his strong technical skills and experience, Keerthan is an asset to any organization looking for a talented software engineer.
