Keith Chirayus is a self-motivated and passionate software engineer with a desire to build great solutions that make an impact on people's lives. With over 7 years of experience in web development, he has a strong background in PHP, JavaScript, and Python and has built end-to-end projects using various frameworks such as CodeIgnitor, AngularJS, and ExpressJS. Keith is currently a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, where he is building the cloud platform using React, Redux, TypeScript, ES6, Less, and Jest. Prior to this, he worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Oracle and as a Software Development Engineer at Expedia, where he worked on consumer-facing platforms for external suppliers using Ember, Handlebar, UITK, LESS, Scala/Scalatra/ScalaTest, Ruby/Cucumber, and MySQL/Docker. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Portland State University and completed an immersive 12-week Full Stack Web Development bootcamp at Coding Dojo, where he earned the highest award of Double Black Belt, achievable only by the top 5-10% of students. He constantly challenges himself to improve and solve more complex problems, and he is always eager to learn new technologies.
