Kelliann Lafferty is a skilled Software Engineer with a focus on front-end development using Javascript. With over 6 years of relevant experience, she is experienced in MySQL and database management. Kelliann is passionate about joining a great team that can help her grow as a developer and mentor. Currently, Kelliann works as a Research Data Management Specialist at Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness. In this role, she has coordinated and conducted 90 semi-structured interviews with a sample of 134 participants recruited from 23 U.S. Army bases nationally and internationally. She has also developed a quality improvement project for a social support program targeting new parents in the military and facilitated a team of 5 contract employees to ensure completion of transaction, quality control, and qualitative coding procedures. In the past, Kelliann has worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, where she conducted tri-annual follow-up interviews with 300+ patients to understand needs and concerns for recovery. She also managed a monthly budget of $7,500 to ensure patients and providers received appropriate compensation for their participation in the research study. As a Customer Success Analyst at BrightEdge, Kelliann managed all technical support requests for 3 global Fortune 500 companies and integrated 3rd party analytic APIs for over 100+ accounts. She resolved complex technical platform behaviors to ensure ease of platform adoption and supported BrightEdge’s 1,300+ global clients with product expertise while consistently achieving 90%+ satisfaction rate week-over-week. For her contributions, she was awarded the BrightEdge Excellence Award for playing a critical role within the client success team. Kelliann holds a Full Stack Software Engineering degree from Flatiron School, where she gained expertise in software engineering, frontend development, MySQL, and Javascript. She also holds a User Experience (UX) Research degree from the School of Visual Concepts and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Penn State University.
