Kelvin Lo is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in developing mobile-first platforms. Currently working with Learnla App, Kelvin has been instrumental in launching two React Native mobile apps and a ReactJS admin panel. He has also supervised the development of backend APIs and database design, implemented analytics, and improved apps based on user behavior. Prior to his current role, Kelvin co-founded Genie Staffing Limited and served as a Full Stack Developer. He developed web and mobile apps and backend infrastructure, acquiring over 70,000 job seekers and 4,000 companies through digital marketing, brand building, and PR. Genie Staffing Limited was recognized with several awards, including the HKICT awards Best Lifestyle 2017, HKICT awards Best Mobile Application 2016, and the HKFYG Jockey Club Innovation Award 2016. Kelvin also founded HypeDash Media Limited, a digital consultancy in Hong Kong. He provided web development services to entrepreneurs, startups, digital agencies, and corporate clients, using an iterative agile development approach. He worked on several projects, including the Genie Juicery Ecommerce Website, Papinee Ecommerce Website, and the Westwood Carvery Table Booking Website. Kelvin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Brown University and completed the Web Development Immersive Program at General Assembly. He has a diverse tech stack, including expertise in software engineering, mobile, web, backend, design, UI, ReactJS, React Native, and infra.
