Kemal Elmizan is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience in various domains such as web, backend, and android development. He is proficient in using programming languages such as Javascript, Golang, and Clojure, but prefers to remain language-agnostic in his projects. Kemal is currently working as a Software Engineer at Gojek, where he focuses on developing scalable and high-performance backend services using Golang and Clojure. He also manages high traffic microservice APIs and maintains the performance, scalability, and availability of web services. Kemal is one of the Golang contributors and uses cloud-native architecture on a daily basis, using tools such as vagrant, docker, kubernetes, and GCP with GKE. He is also experienced in building and processing data-driven pipelines in data engineering architecture at scale, using open-source data infrastructure stacks such as Kafka, Flink, Redis, and Elasticsearch. Prior to his current role, Kemal worked as a Lecturer in web development, software engineering, and distributed systems at Bakrie University and Purwadhika Startup School. He taught students about current technology used to build architecture to enhance distributed computing infrastructures with various computing principles and paradigms. Kemal also mentored students on system design, database design, and algorithm design to startup incubation students at Purwadhika startup class. Kemal holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Universitas Bina Nusantara (BINUS) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bakrie University. He is highly skilled in various technologies such as Golang, Javascript, Clojure, Data Engineering, Android, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic Search, Kafka, Microservices, GCP, Frontend, and Typescript.
