Ken Elkabany is an accomplished Founder and Software Engineer with over 16 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager and Software Engineer at Dropbox, he is responsible for managing the software engineering team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Prior to his current role, Ken co-founded PiCloud, a cloud computing platform that was later acquired by Dropbox. He played a crucial role in the development and growth of the company, leveraging his technical expertise to create a scalable and reliable platform. Ken’s passion for teaching and mentoring is evident from his experience as an Undergraduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley. As a teaching assistant for “EECS 150: Components and Design Techniques for Digital System” taught by Professor Kris Pister, he led a weekly three-hour lab section and hour-long discussion section for a 14-week semester. With a strong background in software engineering, Ken has expertise in a range of technologies and tools.
