Kenji Noguchi is a highly experienced Sr Software Dev Engineer at Verizon Digital Media Services with over 25 years of relevant experience in the field. He has developed a video streaming quality monitoring system that generates real-time metrics by multiple dimensions, including geographic mapping and typical problems such as streaming and batch aggregation, ad-hoc queries on raw data, and unique counts using HyperLogLog estimator for streaming. He has also built a SQL compiler for Elasticsearch in Python and exposed the metrics via REST API. Kenji has worked with a variety of technologies, including Spark, SQL, Elastic Search, Python, Web, Kafka, Software Engineer, Django, Mobile, Apache Hive, and dotNET. Kenji holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.
