Kenneth Bigler is an accomplished Accessibility Engineering Leader at Intuit, where he has been instrumental in improving accessibility across all of Intuit's products. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Kenneth's primary focus has always been on Frontend Software Development. He has extensive experience creating web applications with React.JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Kenneth earned his Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a Software Engineering Emphasis in December 2016, and his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a minor in Mathematics in June 2015, both from Santa Clara University. His education has equipped him with a strong foundation in software engineering, which he has leveraged to excel in his career. Kenneth is a dedicated volunteer and serves as a Team Leader at Second Harvest Food Bank, where he instructs other volunteers on how to sort food for the day. He is also available to the volunteers for any questions they may have. At Intuit, Kenneth is the Senior Software Engineer (Accessibility Engineering Leader) and is responsible for improving accessibility across all of Intuit, with a focus on engineering. He consults with teams on adding automation testing and improving processes. Kenneth is also the Co-Chair of Intuit Abilities Network and Next Generation Network, and he trains new engineers joining Intuit on their Frontend practices as part of the Frontend Stars team. In his previous roles at Intuit, Kenneth worked as a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) and Software Engineer II (Frontend) as part of the Intuit Design Systems team. He created reusable, accessible, and well-tested TypeScript components that are used across many of Intuit's products. He was also an Accessibility Champion and a member of the APEX Fun & Events Committee. Kenneth's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Frontend, JavaScript, TypeScript, test, ReactJS, and Web. He is an accomplished professional with a passion for creating accessible and innovative products.
