Kenneth Leland is a highly accomplished Software Engineering Manager with over 17 years of experience in the tech industry. Currently, he is working at meta, where he supports the product engineering team for Facebook Live. He is also actively hiring for Facebook Live in both NYC and remote locations. Kenneth has a diverse background that includes experience in education, web development, and video monetization. As a Web Development Curriculum and Instruction Consultant for the freehold regional high school district, he launched a coding bootcamp across four public high schools. He created three years of curriculum and trained eight high school teachers funded by a $4MM NJ State Grant. He also recruited volunteers to share industry experiences and inspire students to pursue careers in tech. As the CTO of vydia, Kenneth launched and scaled web and mobile apps that enabled video creators to monetize and promote their content. He recruited and led teams of full-stack developers, data engineers, designers, product managers, data scientists, and software engineering interns.
