Kenneth Williams is a Platform QA Engineer at Unqork with a passion for exploring the ways digital resources can support the intersections of community, civic and business development efforts. He has gained substantial experience in community engagement within government administration and is now cultivating an experience in tech to advance the accessibility and efficacy of much needed services. Kenneth is skilled in research, community development, public speaking, and administration. He has worked extensively with clients, handling direct communication with them via Zendesk and with internal teams via Jira. He has also facilitated cross-functional efforts when tickets required support from additional teams. Kenneth's experience includes working as an Associate Production Support Engineer at Unqork where he built tools on the platform to operationalize/streamline internal processes. He also incorporated external services into the platform to centralize monitoring and communication for clients. Kenneth provided one of the first levels of troubleshooting support for client tickets and developed analyses of client tickets for a data-driven case study on best practices for maintaining platform and application stability. Kenneth is a Software Engineer Fellow from General Assembly with experience in Javascript, Ruby, SQL, HTML5, CSS, Heroku, Surge, Github, Bootstrap, Ruby on Rails, React, Express, Node.js, PostgreSQL, 3rd party APIs, Fetch/Axios, Trello, OOP and MVC methodologies. Kenneth has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Middlebury College and has also completed a Software Engineering Fellow program at General Assembly. He has also completed a course in The Earth Institute Center for Environmental Sustainability from Columbia University. Kenneth's tech stack includes QA, Research Scientist, Ruby, Javascript, SQL, Software Engineer, and NodeJS.
