Kent Cabarle is a Software Development Manager with over 11 years of experience in leading development teams and delivering high-quality work products. He is an expert in AWS, ReactJS, NodeJS, Azure, Cloud Microservices, Java, and Spring Boot. Kent is passionate about creating clean, simple, and tested codes and always leans towards best practices. He established and managed a pioneer Agile Software Delivery Team of 50-people and built a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for an Online Customer Service System. He led the interview, hiring, and onboarding process of 500 candidates from different roles like Java Backend Developers, ReactJS Web Developers, Android Developers, IOS Developers, DevOps Engineer, Software Business Analyst, Scrum Master, and UI/UX Designer. Previously, Kent worked as a Software Development Manager at Appsintegra where he managed the software development and delivery for various clients in UAE. He built 5 Mobile Apps and 15+ Web Apps using the latest software technologies. Kent coached developers, facilitated team agile processes and practices, project planning & design, estimation, production deployment, technical solution architecture, and technical integration discussions with 3rd party vendors. He interviewed 50+ people falling under different roles. Kent worked as a Software Engineering Associate Manager at Accenture, where he managed three development teams composed of 6-8 people each. He reduced ramp-up-time by 50% through initiatives that pushed people to create "self-help" documents for every new repetitive process needed for software testing, development, and deployment. Kent also launched the project-wide training that allowed 15 developers to expand their skills in Angular and Polymer, resulting in an overall increase in developer-utilization and productivity. Kent holds a BS Electronics and Communications Engineering degree from Ateneo de Naga University.
