Ketan Damle is a seasoned Deputy Fleet Manager with over 15 years of experience in the LNG Tanker industry. Currently working as Manager, OEM Relationships at Shell, he is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations for a fleet of LNG vessels. He has a strong background in Oil & Gas, Marine Engineering, OPEX control and reporting, Stakeholder Management, and Project management gained through extensive operational experience and studies. Ketan has a proven track record of managing technical and operational aspects of a modern fleet of LNG vessels. He has successfully managed budgets, controlled costs, and reported performance against budget. He has also been responsible for managing HSE implementation on the vessels in compliance with industry and company requirements. He has recruited staff, reviewed training needs, and conducted yearly goal setting and performance appraisals for staff under direct line management. Ketan has excellent stakeholder management skills and has engaged with customers at senior management levels on a regular basis to align goals and expectations. He has also managed contract management of key equipment vendors, driving reliability through KPIs and engagement around life cycle management. Ketan has a Diploma in Business Management from Icfai University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine from DMET. He is skilled in Java, SQL, Android, Spring, Microservices, Mobile, test, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Web, Javascript, DevOps, Integration, and UI. Ketan is now looking for new challenges and opportunities in the LNG Shipping Industry.
