Ketan Kowticwar is a Lead System Applications Engineer at Analog Devices with over 6 years of professional experience in the field of Embedded Systems. He has strong fundamentals in Embedded programming, optimization techniques, cache management, and developing robust codes. Ketan is an experienced professional in design and development of device drivers from scratch for protocols like SPI, UART, and Peripheral DMA. He is responsible for development and releases of major BSPs and has comprehensive post-silicon validation capability with proficiency in ways to create and execute test plans to expose faults and work upon ways to improve and accelerate the process. Ketan has expertise in analyzing and debugging device drivers' performance and functionality issues and has developed a fair understanding of peripherals such as GPIO, TIMER, TRU, UART, SPI, I2C, Flash, Clock Configurations, etc. He has a fair understanding of RTOS and experience in working with FreeRTOS. Ketan has worked as a Software Engineer at Analog Devices before his current role. He was responsible for the development and enhancement of Device Drivers, post-silicon validation, porting software for DSP Platforms, customer support, and BSP Releases. Ketan started his career as an Intern at Wipro, where he worked on Linux Device Drivers, Eclipse Galileo, PYGTK, UART, I2C. He was responsible for customization and development of Linux device drivers, testing and debugging the developed drivers, documenting right from requirement specifications to test cases for the drivers written, and developing applications for drivers on PYGTK. Ketan holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Embedded Systems from VIT and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Tele-communications Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Research. He completed his SSC & HSC from Regency Public School. Ketan has a tech stack that includes test, Software Engineer, Research Scientist, Jenkins, and DevOps.
