Ketan Verma is a polyglot programmer with a passion for creating symphonies with algo-rhythms. He is currently a Senior SDE at AWS, where he leverages his technical skills to build amazing technologies for the future. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Ketan has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at zipzapdeals, Ketan is responsible for redesigning the entire platform from scratch to incorporate changing user requirements. He has also developed the mobile app for the Android platform, set up an AWS EC2 instance to self-host their private server, and completely redesigned the backend code from scratch. Additionally, Ketan has developed a frontend for vendors, added analytics in the vendor dashboard, and set up a payment gateway to accept payments for subscription fees from vendors. He has also worked on UI/UX design for mobile apps and vendor dashboard, website design, and SEO. Prior to joining zipzapdeals, Ketan co-founded Beatbook, India’s one and only music learning app. He single-handedly built the entire tech from ground-up, including developing apps for students and mentors, an adaptive streaming service with offline support, encryption of media, video chat for students & mentors with session recording, payment gateway integration, and more. He has also worked as a Risk Analyst at EY. Ketan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Amity University, Noida. He is proficient in various technologies, including Software Engineering, AWS, Elastic Search, Search, Web, Parts-of-speech, test, Android, and Mobile. With his technical expertise and experience, Ketan is seeking a challenging career where he can capitalize his skills to build innovative technologies for the future.
