Ketan Vibhandik is a Research Software Development Engineer at Siemens Healthineers, with a keen interest in Computer Vision, Audio/Image processing, Medical Imaging, Reinforcement Learning, ML/DL algorithms, Speech Signal Processing, Music Information Retrieval, and software development. He holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Tirupati, and completed his 12th grade in Computer Science from Fergusson College. Ketan has gained valuable experience in the field of Computer Vision during his internships at Zentron Labs and Johnson Controls. At Zentron Labs, he innovated Computer Vision algorithms using PyTorch for Automated Optical Fruit Grading, using Feature Pyramid Network, Image moment matrix, and state-of-the-art deep learning models. He also developed a dataset by annotating 250 images and used augmentation techniques. At Johnson Controls, he developed a Computer Vision algorithm using MATLAB to get the compressor curves from the images of their graphs from its brochure using Image Processing and Deep Learning. Ketan Vibhandik has won the 2nd runners up at AI Hackathon 2019 organized by NVIDIA, ATOS, and C-DAC for innovating a solution for Spoken Language Identification for 5 Indian languages. He has also gained experience in Music Information Retrieval and enjoys playing basketball and trying to grasp concepts of Hindustani Classical and Jazz music in his spare time. Ketan has a strong technical background in Computer Vision, Software Engineering, Research Science, ML, Deep Learning, Information Retrieval, Reinforcement Learning, Image Processing, AI, and PyTorch. With 1.78 years of relevant experience, he is a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is always eager to learn and explore new technologies.
