Kevin Rohan Vaz is a self-motivated and enthusiastic software engineer with 3.27 years of experience in the industry. He is passionate about learning new technologies and integrating them to create useful applications for daily life. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer at blackhawk, where he is responsible for i18n number formatting, multi-decimal currency support, address support for some countries, integrating Adyen web drop-in payment method in consumer-facing applications, and automating the process of collection of test results generated from webdriver.io and upload the results to rally. He is also part of the Security ambassador program to ensure code is written in a secure way. In the past, Kevin worked as an Associate Software Engineer at blackhawk, where he contributed to improving the time taken to generate a website for a new merchant, onboarding new merchants with derived logic, generating css for their custom sites, ability to edit i18n label messages, etc. He also worked as a Student Developer at crio.do, where he created backend APIs using Spring Boot. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from SRM University, which he completed in 2020. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, testing, web development, Spring Boot, and backend development. Kevin is highly motivated and always eager to learn new things.
