Kevin Bourque is a highly passionate individual who is committed to making the world a better place through cleaner energy. He is a Project Engineer at RETScreen Software and is lucky enough to work at the intersection of clean energy and software. With almost 20 years of relevant experience, Kevin has designed wind farms in Canada and given lectures and workshops to thousands of people around the world, including at the UN, universities, and major corporations. Kevin's passion for developing and using software to help people is evident in his work. He has worked on databases to tease out the cost of various energy technologies and has helped walk someone through an energy efficiency archetype for a commercial building in RETScreen. He is also proud to have written and edited technical textbooks in the field of clean energy engineering. In his current role at RETScreen Software, Kevin is responsible for helping clean energy decision-makers innovate at the intersection of energy and software. He is committed to helping Canadians with RETScreen for clean energy project analysis, including renewable energy and energy efficiency. Kevin has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McGill University and an MBA & Geomatics Engineering coursework from the University of Calgary. He also holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master's degree from the University of Calgary. With his extensive experience and passion for clean energy, Kevin is a valuable asset to any organization working in this field.
