Kevin Herr is a passionate software developer with over 10 years of experience in software development and architecture. He is a lifelong learner who likes to own problems and solutions. Currently, Kevin is a Senior Backend Engineer at Mediafly. In his previous role as an Associate at GCM Grosvenor, he advised software developers and architects on Azure-based solutions such as Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, migrations from Cloud Services to Web Apps, Azure Function solutions, Azure Service Bus troubleshooting, and other Azure PaaS technologies. Kevin was also a Senior Developer at mLevel, where he was one of the initial software engineers. He was instrumental in architecting the multi-tenant cloud platform using Azure, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and SQL Server. He also built continuous delivery practices utilizing TeamCity and Octopus Deploy. Kevin received his M.S. in Computer Science from DePaul University in 2011. He also holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Performing Arts Management from DePaul University. Kevin's technical skills include Backend, Software Engineer, Azure, Web, infra, dotNET, ASP.NET, and SQL. He has a relevant experience of 13.21 years. Most recently, he co-architected and implemented a SaaS enterprise e-learning platform hosted on Azure with worldwide presence.
