Kevin Stephen is a Software Developer Engineer (Full Stack) at Avoma Inc. with a strong background in Deep Learning and Computer Vision. He completed his undergraduate degree from Pune Institute of Computer Technology and has since worked on multiple Computer Vision projects, including Segmentation and Detection. Kevin has considerable experience with both programming and research and is particularly interested in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Currently, his research is focused on Semantic Segmentation. Kevin is interested in building distributed, scalable applications and is keen on building a career in back-end development and/or Machine Learning. He has a strong tech stack that includes programming languages such as C and C++, scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and Bash, and frameworks and libraries such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, Django, Flask, Pandas, NumPy, Express, .NET Core, and React.js. He also has experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB and operating systems and platforms such as Windows, Linux, and Docker. In addition, Kevin has experience in quantization and optimization of DL models for production, CUDA, and TensorRT. He has previously worked as a Software Developer at Finiq Consulting and as a Research Intern at CVIT, International Institute of Information Technology, where he worked under Dr. Ravikiran Sarvadevabhatla on Semantic Part Segmentation. Kevin's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, HSC from Pace Junior Science College, and ICSE from Gokuldham High School.
