Kevin Townsend is a highly skilled Full Stack Node Engineer with over 9 years of experience in software engineering. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at F5 Networks, where he specializes in Node, Ruby, Rails, AWS, and GCP. Kevin is a talented developer who is always looking for the next challenge and is passionate about writing clean, functional code that pushes him to learn bigger and better things. He has experience with React and Redux and is very good with JS. Kevin is constantly looking to expand his knowledge base and is currently working on developing his Ruby skills. In addition to his professional work, Kevin enjoys playing soccer, solving Rubix cubes, and spending time with friends and family. He recently tried out for the Seattle Stars soccer team and is currently playing in the GSSL division 1. Prior to his current role at F5 Networks, Kevin worked as a Front-end developer at CDK Global and as a Full Stack Developer at Office Space. He holds a Ruby on Rails Development Accelerator degree from Code Fellows, an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Graphic Design from Shoreline Community College, and an Associate of Science in Physics from Seattle Central Community College.
