Kevin Vo is a highly experienced Technical Lead Manager with over a decade of experience in ecommerce, both in big companies and startups. He has a deep understanding of various programming languages such as Ruby/Rails, Python/Django/Flask, Java, Javascript, ReactJS, and Amazon Web Services. He spent over four years working at Amazon.com, where he gained extensive experience in building and managing teams across Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, Singapore, and the Philippines. Currently, Kevin is working as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Standard Metrics, where he is freelancing remotely from Asia. He is proficient in Python, Django REST framework, Flask, Postgres, ReactJS, and TypeScript, running on Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes. Previously, Kevin was the Co-Founder and CTO of HipVan.com, which was acquired by Bucketplace in November 2021. He was responsible for the product and engineering of HipVan.com, leading the development of iOS and Android applications, websites, and backend services. During his tenure, he led a team of 12+ developers and launched hipvan.com, hipvan.com.my, and hipvan.us. He designed and built backend products for business intelligence, inventory management, and order management systems. He also has experience in AWS, Service Architecture, ReactJS/Redux, ReactJS Native, JQuery, CSS3/HTML5/Bootstrap 3. Before HipVan.com, Kevin was the Head of Software Development at Zalora, where he built development teams for Zalora Group and Zalora Vietnam. He took ownership of the Zalora Group codebase transfer from Berlin to Singapore and worked with Marketing, Operation, and Customer Service teams to launch Zalora Vietnam. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas. He has a diverse tech stack that includes AWS, Ruby, Flask, Backend, Web, iOS, Typescript, Docker, Javascript, Postgres, Redis, Kubernetes, Elastic Search, Frontend, ReactJS, Django, Redux, Software Engineer, and MongoDB.
