Kewal Chand Swami is a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record in the field of mechanical design and engineering. Currently working at Moley Robotics, Kewal is responsible for developing and implementing mechanical designs for the company's products and services. Kewal's professional experience includes working as a Design Associate at Fracktal Works, where he developed mechanical designs for in-house and external projects using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. He also built parts for various fabrication methods such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, and injection molding. Kewal headed the 3D printing services department, where he managed case studies on applications of 3D printing in various industry domains like Manufacturing, Medical, Automotive, and Education. He authored 5 whitepapers on the application of 3D printing and created the curriculum and provided training to the resellers, students, and customers on the 3D printing technology. Kewal's previous experience also includes working as an Intern: Engineering Design at Tata Centre for Technology and Design, IIT Bombay, where he worked on the Project "Mission Garima" in collaboration with TATA Trust and Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) to improve working conditions of conservancy workers by designing the tools/equipment for municipal solid waste collection.
