Khangembam Deepalaxmi is an experienced software engineer with extensive practice in iOS application development and brief experience with other technologies. Deepalaxmi has worked as a Software Engineer - 2 (iOS) at Channelplay Limited. She was the lead-developer for the 1Channel iOS application. She developed and enhanced the application with different functionalities for incremental sync, attendance GPS restriction, Market visit & activity module, merchandising, in-store stock, primary, secondary and tertiary sales module, etc. She led the migration effort of 1Channel app from Objective C to Swift covering legacy features like complete sales module, market visit module, daily attendance, etc. She advocated good swift-programming practices like protocol-oriented programming. She also developed a social media module for 1Channel users where the users can connect with each other and share their quality work. Deepalaxmi has collaborated with client-facing teams to define, design, and ship new features. She has also worked extensively with QA teams to ensure minimal bugs and develop a smooth deployment process. She has developed restful API for market working activity and made changes in Java-based web service in order to capture proper inflow of data. She has implemented feature maps, heat maps, and navigation using google maps geocoding and directions API so as to allow easier handling of a large amount of data. She has developed a web portal reporting mechanism (Eg. Total distance travelled, Attendance reporting, etc.) and Upload functionality (Eg. Facing norms, availability norms, assign custom attributes, etc.). She has also worked briefly on 1Channel android app to implement the summary sale report feature. Deepalaxmi has also worked as a Software Development Intern at Samsung R&D Institute India – Bangalore (SRIB). She completely developed the application and framework on android OS to enable interactive selection and sharing over a passive screen sharing session and integrate it with the existing Gallery Application. She prepared the underlying framework using server-client socket via Wifi-Direct. The framework will be used to establish and maintain the screen sharing session between the remote devices. She added UI options for Interactive selection, approval, and sharing pictures. Deepalaxmi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT).
