Khilan Goel is a professional Senior Software Engineer with experience across the entire technological stack. He specializes in Full Stack development on Cloud and has extensive knowledge of back-end scaling in C#, Node.Js, SQL, and Azure. On the front-end side, Khilan has worked extensively on React, Javascript, and Typescript. He is passionate about clean code and has a keen interest in Test Driven Development for quality work. His current project involves working on scalability issues in Visual Studio "Test Explorer," where he has successfully reduced the time it takes to discover tests from 20 minutes to just 10-15 seconds. Previously, Khilan worked as a Software Development Intern at Amazon, where he was a member of the Offer Listing Page Team. He designed and implemented the backend of an internal project that catered to external requests coming to Offer Listing Page at Amazon. This project included a queuing mechanism, Notification Handler, and Dao layer implemented via DynamoDB. Khilan also solved customer-facing issues in Seller Profile Page (SPP) and launched the SPP page in the NA region, which is the most impactful region for Amazon Sellers. Khilan's experience also includes working as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, where he led a team of two people to deliver flakiness features for reporting flaky tests in Azure pipelines. He also worked on a cloud-scale Microservice for reporting/insights, which was the first service that was broken out of monolith Team Foundation Service. Khilan worked on reporting/insights in CI/CD pipelines in Azure Services (Formerly VSTS) and contributed to new features, supported existing features, and helped customers debug better. Khilan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Thapar University.
