He is currently serving as a Data Engineer at Incubyte, where he is responsible for building micro-services and data pipelines while keeping Software Craftsmanship practices at the core. Khitab is a cloud-native data pipeline expert and has extensive experience in using various technologies such as Databricks, Scala, Python, Java, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Deltalake, and more. Before joining Incubyte, Khitab worked as a Software Engineer at Allscripts, where he was responsible for troubleshooting client-reported product issues, optimizing database performance, investigating environmental issues, supporting product upgrades, and developing new features based on inputs from the Solutions Management. He also worked as an MS Systems Analyst at Allscripts, where he gained hands-on experience with the Health Level 7 (HL7) protocol and was exposed to all the steps of the SDLC. Khitab has a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science and Statistics from Symbiosis and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University.
