Kiran Kumar K is a Senior Quality Assurance Test Engineer at Conviva, with a demonstrated history of working on various OTT projects. He has extensive knowledge in multimedia, video streaming, DAI, API, and video analytics (QoE, Content & Ad Insights, Audience...). Currently, Kiran is involved in the validation of video streaming metrics that help measure the success of content or application (analytics) for both content and DAI across different video players and platforms like Android, iOS, tvOS, Web(JS), Chromecast, Roku, C-SDK, Xbox, Playstation. He has a keen understanding of the nuances of OTT testing and play validation in Web, Mobile-Android & iOS, Smart TVs (Samsung & LG), UWP (Xbox & Windows), and Comcast2 streaming box. Kiran has worked on various OTT projects, most of which have been in the purview of Sports & general entertainment content Apps like Starsports, Hotstar, Voot, Zee5, Tata Sky, developed by leading broadcasters in India. He has also worked for the SLING TV OTT & OTA application, one of the No.1 OTT streaming applications in the US. Kiran has hands-on experience in Jmeter, Postman tool & other Automation technologies such as Selenium, Java, Appium. He has garnered knowledge on various elastic search tools like Pulse Conviva, Conviva touchstone & Kibana for the player QoS. He is also well-versed in New Relic analytics for backend microservices and Adobe for UI analytics. Prior to joining Conviva, Kiran worked as a Senior Software Test Engineer at Prime Focus Technologies and as a Senior Engineer - Software Quality at Sling TV, a subsidiary of Dish Network. Kiran holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from HKBK College of Engineering. With 7.94 years of relevant experience, Kiran is a skilled SDET with expertise in QA, testing, iOS, Web, Microservices, Search, Mobile, UI, Backend, and Android. He is a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
