Kiran Patil is a Learning Experience Designer with over 14 years of experience in the field of instructional design. Currently associated with Infosys, Kiran is responsible for creating end-to-end learning solutions for a leading mortgage servicing company in the US. In this role, he liaises with business unit sponsors to understand training requirements, creates project plans, high-level designs, and design documents in consultation with SMEs and training directors. He also supports the development team in creating high-quality training courses and reviews them for accuracy and design purpose. Prior to Infosys, Kiran worked as an Information Developer/Instructional Designer at Accenture for over three years. There, he conceptualized learning solutions in close liaison with SMEs and third-party vendors, incorporated multimedia assets, developed training solutions using prescribed templates and standards, and managed client, SME, and stakeholder communication and risk mitigation. He also onboarded new project members, conducted peer reviews, and used development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, and Uperform. Kiran honed his instructional design skills at GLS Learning Solutions, Pune, where he analyzed, chunked, and developed content, created design documents, and scripted storyboards per ID principles and client requirements. He also coordinated with content owners/SMEs, graphic artists, and programmers to develop and publish the final output for WBTs. Kiran holds a post-graduate diploma in print journalism from Ranade Institute of Journalism, Pune, and a Master of Arts degree in Commonwealth Literature, British Literature & American Literature from Fergusson College, Pune. With his extensive experience in instructional design and proficiency in development tools, Kiran is a valuable asset to any organization looking to create effective and engaging learning solutions.
