Kishan Kumar is a skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the internet industry. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at PhonePe, where he manages the Anomaly Detection and Inception Services. Kishan graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee with a Bachelor of Technology degree focused in Electrical Engineering with a Minor Specialisation in Computer Science. He has a relevant experience of 3.20 years and possesses expertise in Computer Vision, Python, C++, Java, and Deep Learning. Kishan has previously worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Samsung, where he automated Fraud Detection using Deep Learning and trained a RetinaNet model on a self-made dataset with an accuracy of 98% on device classification. He also designed an architecture that uses RetinaNet as its backend for computing similarity between two objects and designed a user-friendly app on Cordova to capture pictures and metadata. During his Summer Trainee period at Steel Authority of India Limited, Kishan familiarized himself with various technologies used in the steel industry, learned about different types of motors and their windings, assimilated the principles of DOL starter, types of circuit breakers and relays, and familiarized himself with the process of making steel, from the raw materials to the required final product.
